June is the month of the Sacred Heart, and this year the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops will consecrate the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on Thursday, June 11, the eve of the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  The consecration is aligned with the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
