Archdiocesan Chrism Mass: Join Archbishop Cordileone and the priests of the Archdiocese of San Francisco on March 26 at 4PM at St. Mary’s Cathedral for the annual Chrism Mass. The Chrism Mass is a sign of unity in the Archdiocese and holds two important roles. The first is the blessing of oils that are distributed to each parish for use throughout the next year. The second part of the Chrism Mass is the renewal of priestly promises by the priests of the archdiocese.
